I know there are a few of you out there who, like me, are a bit obsessed with this sexy, deeply intoxicating scent, so I thought I’d share with you what jasmine-based beauty and lifestyle products are in constant rotation around here.
The Wonder Seed’s Hemp Body Lotion in Fresh Jasmine was first on my list because of how much it’s changed my mind about body lotions in general. The non-thick, non-greasy formula spreads so easily post-shower, similar to my beloved body oils, but has enough water content to make it a true lotion.
The Wonder Seed’s Hemp Body Lotion in Fresh Jasmine doubles as a lovely, lightweight hand moisturizer in a pinch, and leaves your skin feeling soft and delightfully scented.
That’s because The Wonder Seed didn’t skimp at all when it came to using jasmine in this formulation. In a base of purified water and virgin hemp seed oil, The Wonder Seed gets right to it with organic jasmine essential oil and organic jasmine blossom extract — ingredients No. 3 and No. 4!
The familiar slippy feeling is also thanks to grapeseed oil and aloe vera, which keep this body lotion fast-drying and ultra moisturizing. The texture is just fantastic (and that’s saying a lot coming from a chic who rarely ever uses body lotions).

These extremely nourishing ingredients, led by nature’s own “wonder seed,” hemp seed oil, provide a mega dose of omega fatty acids and key vitamins to the skin. We’re lucky that, in the green beauty world, this is a norm, not an exception.
But what really stands out to me is how right The Wonder Seed got the texture and scent of this body lotion. It’s just that perfect. Many jasmines can be a bit too pungent, heady and sickly sweet. Not so with this one, and especially if you’re into layering your scents (think vanilla body wash in the shower + jasmine body lotion afterward …. hellllllo, delicious!).
I’m also just a little crazy for how well-formulated everything is in The Wonder Seed line. I’ve raved about them before in various roundup posts and social media mentions, but this is my first standalone review of one of their products.
