cecilia wong skincare | rejuvenating toner mist

One of my favorite skin care staples is toner.

I’m not talking burn-your-face-teenager-astringent (I’m thinking of you, Oxy pads from my youth). I’m talking essential oil-laced, floral water-based toners that refresh, renew and revitalize the skin.

While I have a drawer full of these miracle waters, one of my top shelf staples comes from Cecilia Wong. This gorgeous skin care and spa expert has created the ultimate toning mist that has me perked up and ready for the day every morning when I spray it on my face.

Cecilia Wong has created an alcohol-free, probiotic- and herb-loaded toner that smells absolutely amazing. It’s got soothing chamomile in it to balance oil levels as well as rosemary, lavender and lemon to keep skin clean and fresh. All of these plants help create the alluring, fresh aroma that keeps me reaching for another spritz.

Besides gushing about what’s in the bottle, I can’t get enough of the actual mechanics of the bottle — specifically, the ultra-fine mist that it sprays on my face in a nice, round area.

Some of the other toners I own, while I love the formula, have poor spritz execution; it’s usually too targeted, so the toner doesn’t distribute evenly and finely across the face, which makes me have to get a cotton ball and swoosh it around to cover all of my skin.

Not with Cecilia’s toner. I’ll admit, though I just finished the bottle, I decided to dump another toner I’m testing and reviewing into Cecilia’s bottle — I have a much better impression of the other toner now that I can happily spritz away without worrying about taking out an eyeball!

So tell me: Do you use toners, or do you feel like they are just an additional step in your already-complicated skincare routine? What sort of packaging issues do you pay attention to when it comes to your beauty products? Tell me what you think in the comments section.
