nourish organic replenishing argan oil balm

For face and body softening on the go, Nourish Organic Replenishing Argan Oil Balm is your chubby-containered companion.

This USDA organic multipurpose moisture stick is the simple answer to keeping hands, lips, cheeks and cuticles smooth and balmy.

Though the bulbous shape may take up some precious room in your makeup bag, it’s still a fine replacement for several other products you may carry with you. Think lip balm, hand cream and luminizer.

What, you don’t carry luminizer with you?

I digress.

Made from sweet orange, palmarosa and Moroccan argan oil, Nourish Organic’s Replenishing Argan Oil Balm packs smells lightly citrusy and feels soft and subtle on the skin.

This soothing balm boasts shea butter, cocoa butter and cupuacu butter among its ingredients list, guaranteeing a layer of protection from chapping and irritation.

Here’s the full ingredients list:

Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Nut Oil, Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Organic Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Organic Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuacu) Butter, Organic Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Organic Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

Personally, I love using this as a spot treatment on especially rough spots on the tops of my hands and elbows. Sometimes, it will make its way onto my lips, but I’m careful to sanitize the top of it to keep from getting anything strange into my system.

With multipurpose balms like this, you still have to be cognizant of just how multipurpose you get; if you’re going to be rolling it all over your legs and feet, maybe don’t also roll it onto your face. Just a thought.

Beyond those particulars (personal preference, y’all), I’d love to see this balm in a skinnier tube (NOT a pot — I love the tubular feel) that’s somewhere in between the current size and the size of a fat lip balm container.

But, if Nourish Organics Replenishing Argan Oil Balm is a deskside item, it’s quite perfect. Easy to see and remember to reapply, and kinda cute on display.

Can you tell I have a lot of beauty products displayed on my desk?

As for the formula, I wouldn’t alter a thing. It’s the perfect lightweight balm with a firm density and pleasant, nonchalant scent. I’d repurchase it immediately if the packaging were just a bit thinner.
