If you ever visit me, you’ll notice that I have a bowl of lip balms in my bathroom beauty shelf.

Yes, friends, I am addicted to lip balm.

But no matter how many lip balms pile up in that bowl, I always find myself reaching for the same few in the mornings while prepping for the day.

Osmia Organics Honey-Myrrh Lip Repair is one of them.

Can we all just take a second to wipe the drool from our mouths? That’s how I get when I look at this ultra-soft, thick lip balm. Osmia Organics’ Honey-Myrrh Lip Repair truly is one of my favorites because it’s the kind of lip balm that you can easily layer.

There’s no risk of getting too little or too much because the way the formula holds up in the jar, you can either 1) “ice skate” across the top of it, i.e. don’t break the seal of the gloss and get a very thin application on your lips or 2) break the damn seal (yes!) and swirl around in there and get a nice goop of gloss on your grubby little fingers (see above).

C’mon, people, it’s winter, and yes, I do use a nice, thick layer of this lip balm before bed so my pucker can repair (see name of product) after all those hours of making out with the teacher man.

Let’s get ready to drool again as we look at the Osmia Organics Honey-Myrrh Lip Repair ingredients list:

Organic castor bean oil, organic beeswax, cupuacu butter, lanolin, organic manuka honey, organic tamanu oil, GMO-free vitamine E oil, wild myrrh CO2, FCF-free organic bergamot essential oil

Honey and butter? Sold. But when you throw in tamanu oil (native to my mama’s homeland, Vietnam) and wild myrrh, you’ve really got something special.

This hydrating lip balm is also handy for treating chapped skin around your nostrils (winter, please be gone!) and has such a subtle scent — a clean, slightly spiced aroma — that it won’t irritate your senses if you do apply it around your sniffer.

In case you need a little more convincing on how much I love this lip balm, let me just tell you that it will find a home on my faves page once I get around to updating it again.

And at that point, you can learn what other lip balms I constantly reach for in that bowl of goodness.

You can peep that bowl of goodness here (yes, it’s the Chinese soup bowl!).
