Because I test tons of new products every month, I tend to have half-full bottles of product throughout my bathroom and beauty closet (yes, I have a beauty closet).
It takes a while to actually finish a whole bottle or jar of product because I’m constantly cycling in new and old things to try — unless I become particularly attached to a miracle product and must use it every day.
I just finished using is Dermelect Cosmeceuticals’ Resurgent Stem Cell Firming Activator. That’s a pretty fancy name for a really amazing toner that’s made of alpine rose stem cells, which are supposed to help preserve and protect your skin.

One of my favorite things about this firming activator — aka toner — is how fine the mist was from this lovely little silver bottle. Even though the product inside is what really matters, I find that when I use toners that have heavier mists or a very-targeted stream of product, it just isn’t as pleasant…you want a light, even mist of droplets on your face, not obvious wet spots on certain areas of your face!
Speaking of what’s inside, the Resurgent Stem Cell Firming Activator has a great list of active ingredients, including aloe leaf juice, calendula extract, rosemary leaf extract and of course, rose oil.
When it comes to scents, I’m usually not a huge fan of rose, but the soft scent of alpine rose in Resurgent Stem Cell Firming Activator smells pure and natural — not heavy or artificial.
