Nothing is more gorgeous and green than the great state of Colorado.

And when it comes to clean beauty in Colorado, one boutique comes to mind: AILLEA.

This spring, the Denver-based clean beauty boutique is expanding, bringing that Colorado green goodness to Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina.

Under the leadership of founder Kathryn Murray Dickinson, AILLEA’s fourth and fifth locations will offer in-house beauty services, such as facials and brow maintenance, as well as products from some of the best brands green beauty has to offer.

AILLEA currently has three brick-and-mortar locations: two in Denver and one in Atlanta.

“While several large cities now have multiple clean beauty options, smaller cities have not had as much access to these ever-growing brands,” Kathryn says. “I am so excited for people to be able to see, touch, feel and fall in love with these luxury brands in person.”

Kathryn, a beauty industry marketer-turned-entrepreneur, founded AILLEA on the promise that women should have the opportunity to experience healthier skincare, makeup, supplements and body care options.

With that promise in mind, Kathryn chooses to stock green beauty products based on quality of ingredients, quality of performance and quality of experience. At AILLEA, you’ll find products free of parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals and endocrine disrupters. Instead, you’ll find products loaded with plants and plenty of pretty.

These are the green beauty products that Kathryn loves to experience.

As usual, I’ve starred the items I also use and love.

AILLEA Founder Kathryn Murray Dickinson’s Favorite Lifestyle & Green Beauty Products

*Josh Rosebrook Moisturizing Cleanser

This gets all of my makeup off and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated.

*Kypris Deep Forest Clay Mask

I personally try all of the products that come in to the store. Sometimes the constant change leaves my skin less than perfect. This always clears it up and brings it back to balanced without drying it out.

*Kjaer Weis Mascara

This mascara DOES NOT MOVE. Seriously — you can put it on at 7:00 a.m. and it looks EXACTLY the same at midnight. But it magically still washes off easily!

Kjaer Weis The Beautiful Oil

I love this under my makeup — they aren’t lying when they say this is the “root of light.” So, so pretty.

*Orgaid Sheet Mask & *Honest Hazel Eye Gels

I am a hydration junky. These two items are miracle workers. They are especially great to make your skin look fantastic right before a big event or to revive after a long flight.

Laptop

I admit, I am seriously tethered to my email. And I am probably dating myself, but work SO much faster on my laptop than my phone. It is so much better for editing photos, managing multiple projects and screens at one time (for me, at least). Everyone asks about my marble top — you can get one here on Etsy.

Cat Doorknocker Earrings

These were my mom’s in the 70s and probably my favorite piece of jewelry (after my wedding ring, of course).

Nantucket Looms Blanket

I tend to work curled up under a blanket. These are so cozy and beautiful as throws around the house. They are handwoven and made SO well. I think the one I have is more than 15 years old.

*Kosas Lipsticks

The whole line is amazingly wearable for every complexion, and they are super soft.

*RMS Buriti Bronzer & *Lily Lolo Bronzed Illuminator

I am very pink and try to tone it down with more earth tones. The RMS Buriti Bronzer and Lily Lolo Illuminator in Bronzed are perfect for my fair complexion. They are part of my makeup “uniform.”

Maya Chia Wonder Balm

This aptly named moisturizer packs a SERIOUS, SERIOUS hydration punch, which in arid Colorado is a necessity. They market it more for cracked cuticles, elbows and heels, but I am indulgent and use it on my lower legs, too. It leaves them glowing without being greasy. A good friend also used it on her tummy throughout her pregnancy and never got a stretch mark!
