It’s finally starting to cool down, and September issues are finally starting to pop up on (for me, digital) newsstands.
This means that fall is (hopefully!) just around the corner, and I’m beginning to welcome more fall colors into my beauty bag.
One of the biggest color trends for fall 2012 is “oxblood.” To me, that’s just a fancy way of saying “burgundy,” but I’ll roll with it.
I am loving the soft, rich color and texture of Jane Iredale’s PureMoist lipcolor in “Carmen,” a burgundy that offers a medium wash of color to help you get one step into the oxblood trend without feeling too made-up.
I tested Jane Iredale’s PureMoist lipcolor in Carmen during a visit to my salon over the weekend. I loved the way the color glided on so easily, and I could build the color to a more intense shade with a few extra applications without worrying about the pigment straying outside my lip line.
Jane Iredale PureMoist lip color has a bit of a minty tingle to it, thanks to pure peppermint oil, and keeps your lips soft with natural beeswax. It also has a hint of vanilla — and hey, who doesn’t like vanilla?
