When the teacher man asked me to go to the park for an afternoon walk, I knew this would be the perfect time to don one of the ultimate man-repelling trends:

The turban-style headband.

I’ve been known to be a bit boring with my hair (typically just a wash-and-wear type of gal) and rarely wear head jewels or hats.

Except on this day, with 90-something degree weather that called for keeping sweat from rolling down my perfectly made-up face.

What do you think of the turban-style headband trend?

I can tell you one thing: A little girl at the library, where we stopped pre-park, was definitely pointing at my head and asking her mom about my headband.

I hope the little girl approved.
