To kick off the week, I wore this high-low dress from The Limited — my first high-low dress (aka mullet dress) purchase of the season.

It seemed fitting to wear this piece yesterday, as I officially announced my resignation at a major advertising agency in Kansas City. We’ve all had definite highs and lows in this business (it’s advertising, hello!), but I’m so happy to say that the former greatly outweigh the latter.
I’ll be leaving a team of great friends to get back to my online publishing roots as a web editor for a major nonprofit organization. I’m too excited for what the future holds, and through the highs and the lows, I know I’ll be just fine as long as I’m doing what I love — while rocking major shoes, no doubt.
