Toward the end of the show, Jess and I headed backstage to get in on the post-show action and catch up with the models.
This lovely model garnered so much applause from the ladies in my row, I couldn’t help but lean over and ask, “Who is she?” She’s the mother of a high school senior and a celebrated Kansas City community member with a million-dollar smile.
I was only bargaining on getting a little shot of Giuliana’s dressing room sign!
By sheer luck, Jess and I were shooting backstage near the same exit path that Giuliana took to get to her room. In a bit of a panic, I got this picture of the E! news host as she happily smiled and waved to everyone backstage.
I passed my camera on to a volunteer to snap this photo of me, Giuliana and Jess, but failed to put it on auto (I was making myself shoot in manual all night) to ensure a perfect picture. This will have to do!
