“I am a bubble bath girl from way back, and a good bath not only ends the day in a perfect way, but also provides a sanctuary to relax and tune out.”

From the moment I saw the phrase “bubble bath,” I knew I would be in for a treat as I put together this week’s natural beauty buff post.

Michelle Witherby is the founder and CEO of Organic & Natural Collective, or O&N Collective, a thoughtfully curated shopping site for natural and organic beauty products. She launched the online apothecary to bring together a community of conscientious thought leaders in the natural beauty space.

O&N Collective not only provides a holistic shopping experience for people like you and me, but also exposes you to a panel of natural beauty experts to engage on the site, as well as an active blog for you to surf while you shop.

Michelle pared down her list of favorites (how difficult to choose when you run a stellar natural beauty e-commerce destination!) to share with me and you — and as always, I’m intrigued by some of the more under-the-radar brands she mentions. Check out her picks below!

(As usual, I’ve starred the items that I also use and love.)

Neom Sensuous Home Candle

It is not often that a candle comes in a sexy black glass, not to mention one that looks great in the home and is also good for the senses. Neom’s all-natural vegetable wax candles are packed with essential oils, and the mainstay for “Sensuous” is frankincense, ylang ylang and patchouli (not the patchouli from a reminiscent Grateful Dead concert, but a refined, sophisticated note).

Vitacare Multicare Toothpaste and Mouthwash

My favorite flavor is cool mint/acai and cool mint/key lime. Trust me, I know it is oral care, but you have never had anything like it. Fresh breath is in! No way will you find SLS, parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, artificial color, flavors or sweeteners in this fluoride-free toothpaste.

*Tata Harper Revitalizing Body Oil and Strengthening Body Lotion

I use these in tandem to keep my skin super moisturized and to battle that little monster called cellulite. Both regenerate dry, dehydrated skin and are packed with ingredients like grapeseed oil, which is a natural antibiotic; calendula oil, which is a natural anti-inflammatory; and mango butter and avocado oil, which help the skin produce collagen. And they both smell heavenly.

Deep Steep Grapefruit & Bergamot Bubble Bath

This is infused with organic herbs and aloe leaf juice so you can pamper yourself guilt-free. There’s no SLS to create a fake foamy wonderland in your tub.

Moksa Organics Amazon Lemon Body Bar

Ingredients like organic poppy seed and ground lemon peel make this a wonderfully exfoliating soap that smells divine.

Elemis Body Detox Skin Brush

This particular brush is made with cactus bristles and is great for circulation and improving skin texture. Ground coffee used simultaneously with the Elemis Body Detox Skin Brush is great for combating cellulite.

*Kahina Giving Beauty Antioxidant Mask

I slather this argan oil-enriched clay mask on before slipping in the tub. It’s perfect for detoxifying and balancing the skin while gently exfoliating.

Sprayology B-12+Folic Acid Oral Spray

I use his homeopathic spray daily for a boost in energy or for stress maintenance.

Badger SPF 30+ Lightly Scented Lavender Sunscreen

A little goes a long way. A girlfriend turned me on to the brand. Because I spend so much in the sun, I can contest that this works!

CV Skinlabs Rescue+ Relief Spray

This is your rescue remedy to comfort itching or burning in those areas forgotten while sunbathing. Founded by our dear friend and cancer survivor Britta Aragon, this spray simply drenches your skin in goodness with all-natural ingredients. Key ingredients valerian and comfrey soothe, while water lily has purifies and helps remove heat.

*La Bella Figura Barbary Fig Renewal Serum

Coming from the South and being an ocean aficionado, I have spent the majority of my life in the sun. Because of this, I accumulated freckles and sunspots on my decolletage and face. This wonder serum improved the look and feel of my face through its namesake ingredient barbary fig seed oil, an essential fatty acid which builds collagen and support suppleness, and its reparative broccoli seed oil, which heals.

Coolibar Wide Brim Sun Hat

Lightweight, easy for travel, breathable and rated up to UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) 50+. This hat also looks good on the beach!

Custom Organic Contessa Tote

Made from all-natural jute and lined with cornstarch (zero plastic!), this tote is great for a day of sun and fun and is also handy for a market visit. Available by special order only (send me a note at info@oandncollective.com).

TKEES Flips

Dress ’em up, dress ’em down, these are the best flips that I have found to date. Sexy, fun and their company tagline is “TKEES cosmetics for your feet,” so venture to guess, I own many colors and flavors.

Reading Material

You must stay enlightened and in the know with my two favorites: my stock library on Kindle (great for the sun — no glare), and Inc magazine where O&N Collective received a mention.
