Yesterday Jess and I experienced Kansas City Fashion Week from the frontlines — both at the event and outside of the event.
Watching from row two (behind these two adorable fashionistas), we oohed and ahhed at some daring designs (check out my Kansas City Fashion Week post), but before we took our seats, we had our own shoot with Fox 4 News and, of course, Jess’s photog-husband, P.
Check out my Facebook page for fun outfit outtakes and girlie pics — we got a little silly this round.

Though it’s a bit colder, the lack of strong winds and appearance of clear skies and sun was enough to make me justify getting into a bright spring ensemble for the spring/summer 2012 Kansas City Fashion Week show.
I loved pulling together my two favorite colors, red and teal, without looking like a tropical holiday tree. The white floral top brought it all together and the camel-colored, soft leather booties grounded the look with warmth.
